Downside was a student at the JA who was known for being kind and helping out newer members even though he was not an instructor. Downside used a standard saber and fought in the Hybrid style. He was also noted for having created his own fighting style called Via Aer which is Latin for "Way of the Air", this combines the Hybrid style with tricky and affective aerial moves.
