R2D2:

Clan Savior is a North American-based clan that has been in existence since middle-late 2006. It began as a 2v2 TFFA squad consisting of Komence and FLooD and has since then evolved into much more. Savior is known for its competitive nature and being a highly TFFA oriented clan. It is perceived by many to be an "elitist" clan, but this is certainly untrue, as the clan is almost always willing to help those who seek training, individuals and clans alike (especially if they're wanting to learn more about TFFA). Savior is widely considered as the best TFFA clan/team in North America.

Beginnings of Savior
Shortly after Komence and FLooD decided to recruit more members into the clan, Savior consisted almost entirely of ex-Immortal Warriors (<|IW|>), a JA+ clan led by Kaoii, Xanthus, and Gladiator, in which Komence was a high ranking member. Among these newfound Saviors were MikeY, Spectre, Gladiator (who shortly thereafter renamed to W@R), artex and hisownfoot. Xanthus, the ex-leader of IW, managed to buy Savior a shiny new server, enabling the newly forged clan to play together much easier. People were soon attracted to the new base server, allowing the recruiting of players such as the staffers amero and insomnix, 1.00 singlests Novaking and the ridiculously good looking Loto, duel server localists Faith and Elminster, ex-DoX members Khako and Technique, Singaporian singlest Illusion, and the well known TFFA players, Marduk and Sane.

Savior's Newfound Passion
As Savior was slowly stabilizing into the powerhouse clan it would later become, it found a new love for the game - TFFA. Starting off as only doing 2v2s, Savior had their first 3v3 match against vVv, a successful ESL team, in which Savior won by a score of 31-24. This inadvertently created a rivalry between Savior and vVv's North American squad (the team consisted of both European and North American players). TFFA matches were held regularly between the two teams, with Savior mainly boasting a lineup of Komence, W@R, Marduk and Sane, while vVv typically used Maverick, skillz, Technique (who had left Savior to join vVv), and Evenue. With matches being held so frequently, Savior drastically improved in a span of 3 months. Unfortunately, vVv died sometime around the beginning of 2007.

Savior in the ESL
During the time of Savior's frequent matches against vVv, the clan entered the ESL and for the first time met real European competition. At this time, Savior's main 3v3 lineup consisted of Komence, W@R, and Khako, with Sane and Marduk on the inactive side. One of Savior's first matches in the league was against top ranked BHK-Vagant, previously known as p3gaming. They suffered a terrible defeat, losing by a score of 41-11 on the European round, though managing to win the US round 35-32. Devon, a member of BHK who had participated in the match, offered training to the team, who gladly accepted. This training proved valuable, as Savior scored wins against very competent teams such as roYality, {JS}, and most notably vVv, who had previously beaten BHK in an ESL match. However, Savior hit an inactive streak and left the league.

Savior Rebuilding
After leaving the league, Savior once again went on a recruiting spree. The clan recruited very skilled players such as Evenue and Nelo, also bringing in famous players such as ex-n0² member MatriX, and well known BWN players such as the dualist subLime and the staffer Necrofusion. At this point, Savior was known as a dominant TFFA force in North America, and just about no other clan on the continent could keep up with them in a match. After further training, Savior's main ESL squad was once again ready for action, though the loss of previous ESL starter Khako hurt them. The clan's new starter was Elminster, who had drastically improved. The team once again entered the competitive league.

Savior's New Run In The ESL
Savior's newest squad consisted of Komence, Elminster, W@R and Marduk. Hisownfoot and MatriX were shortly with the ESL team before leaving to make their own ESL team "cc", or cross continental. The new squad had an even better run this time, winning against the German team roYality twice, rivals ^TNT^, a fellow North American team, and defeating second ranked *aiming by a very large margin - winning 68-23 on the US round. However, shortly after that, Savior suffered a crushing defeat against top ranked saber Academy, losing by 1 frag due a team-kill in the very last second of play. The ESL squad soon fell into inactivity once again, and after not playing in two weeks, were defeated by roYality, whom they had been able to decisively beat in the past time and time again. Once again, the ESL squad, including the entire clan itself, fell into inactivity.

The Current Savior
Savior has been attempting to regain its activity for months now, but is still nowhere near as active as they had once been. However, the ESL squad is once again preparing to rejoin the TDM ladder, hoping to regain their spot at 3rd, and then some. The clan is still almost always up for a TFFA match, which can be requested on our website at www.saviorclan.com, or you can contact someone from the list below. Everyone sucks except for Artex, he's the best.

Clan WoV, standing for Wanders of the Vanquished, was formed mere days after the launch of the much anticipated First Person Shooter Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast(2002), making it quite possibly one of the oldest Jedi Knight Series clans in existence today. Its Founder, HazelJedi, who in real life was the administrator of his own ISP, spent a good deal of time in many different servers during those early days and discovered that the way in which most clans were running at that point was not to his liking. It was for this reason that, instead of joining a clan and having to endure the way it was run, Hazeljedi decided to take the great leap of faith: he decided to form clan WoV.

HazelJedi remained an important leader of WoV for nearly three years before moving on to other pursuits. During his time in WoV, he and a few other leaders of notable maturity set up the clan WoV much to his own very structured and disciplined tastes. Many of the original members who were an integral part in taking the clan off the ground have since left, but their marks and contributions for WoV will never be forgotten. Some of these originals as they shall henceforth be referred to are Jaxar who was the designer of WoVs first site, Jannik who was the artist behind WoV clan skins, PadaWn who helped with administration and the redesign of WoVs site (mitigating factor; the site template that is currently being used was designed by Intrepid), Saber who's skill brought the clan into contention in the most competetive of tournaments and matches, and JuggaloJedi who, as legend has it, still remains to this day. But as the loss of some of the originals came as a blow to them, new members have stepped up in their place. Dragon, Intrepid, Xanthos, and Noir have been passed the torch and are working off the strong foundations provided by previous members to strengthen and build WoV into something the likes of which have not been seen before in a clan.

In Jedi Knight: Jedi Outcast, WoV had a very structured system of ranks based on the military featuring: cadets, privates, on all the way up to generals and commanders. Ranks during the time were designated by color differences in the player's tags. On Tuesday nights at 7:00 PM, clan meetings were held in-game, and it gave Hazel an opportunity to speak at great length (for he loved to do so, and was never at a loss to speak about his vision for the clan). Also, HazelJedi paid the famous mapper Shroomduck to design clanbase for its members to relax in, a move which many gamers would scoff at, but one which truly demonstrated the level of dedication which HazelJedi put into the clan. The result was the map "ffa_wov", and the founding of WoV's members' only server, <|WoV|>Valhalla. The orderly nature of the clan and its many complex rituals, coupled with its famous custom map made WoV the ideal clan for many people, and at one point in Jedi Knight: Jedi Outcast, membership in WoV had swelled to 122 players (this figure is not inflated). Needless to say, this could not last, as disputes over ranks began to tear the clan apart from the inside out.

Amazingly, by the time Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy was launched, active membership in WoV had dwindled to roughly six members. At this point, the senior-most member was a player known as Kilroy, who's name later changed to Intrepid. He saw membership lows and the lack of more senior members as a chance for the regrowth and heavy improvement. Ranks were done away with, and with them went some of the role-playing themes which characterized WoV in Jedi Knight: Jedi Outcast, but these sacrifices had to be made in order to actuate the plan to make WoV into a respectable clan once more. Not satisfied with garnering members simply to beef up numbers, Intrepid a.k.a Kilroy went to great lengths during the early days of Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy to entice players who were far better than himself at the time to join.

This type of wooing continued, and after a few months, WoV had become a respectable clan again, as more time passed, it grew to become quite skilled. But the hay-day of WoV did not truly come until the dissolution of several other high-profile american clans, such as OoS, and especially, american powerhouse clan Master. Many Ex-Masters found a new home in WoV, and the collective draw of the skilled players and easygoing atmosphere of WoV was answered by the new memberships of skilled duelists from all different north american clans. For a period of about 6 months or so, and probably quite longer, clan WoV was arguably the best TFFA and NF Duel clan in North America. Winning most US tournaments the clan signed up for, WoV also put together the TFFA team that defeated what was considered the best European clan at that point, clan Zedi, which disbanded shortly thereafter.

But all good things come to an end, and by the winter of 2006, member interest in JKA was waning. While WoV still to this day has many of the best NF duelists in the game, its days of completely dominating seem numbered.

Founded on 6th January 2003 zedi Started off as a Jedi Knight Jedi Academy Clan. It was made by two ex [dF] (virus and gizmo aka dimension and sleepy) as well as ex [SASH] (Tox Darklord Maze Cookie). We prided ourseleves on skill as well as friendship ^^. After winning the Wireplay 4v4 League zedi set its eyes on clanbase and got to #1 without any trouble and never lost a match in the ladder. Team 3D was formed by Sleepy and the newest edition to the clan : Twilight with Dimension joining. They took part in the Axiom 2on2 Turnier Tourney and reached the final but sadly it was never played. zedi then expanded into jk2 again as zith and played a few matches but it never really took off. Later on the, at that moment, 1on1 duel'er zemik joined zedi.

The succesfull zedi Lineup: Dimension, Maze, Twilight, FeadeR, Dizzle, AnGeL, Dark and zemik

After a few arguements zedi was closed due to many reasons. It led to the forming of reflex gaming by Maze as well as team.Saints formed by Rio Dark Twilight with Dimension joining. They were then asked to merge into Presidents and formed Presidents Multigaming Team. With Twi forming inactive Darklord and Dimension looked for more members but this failed. Dark and Dimenesion then had the idea to reopen zedi and reconquer the jka community. They asked [<<] (AnGeL, Feader, Dizzle) to merge into zedi and form the zedi JKA Section.

When zedi reached the point of pure boredom players went their seperate ways: Dark, Feader, AngeL, and later Dizzle joined the oZone clan

zedi offically quit as a team with a amazing european ownage score of 500+ matches played 2 drawn and 3 loss, with a winning streak of more than 490 matches, including the top of ESL teams such as StarAiming, noLimits and aXiom.
The Jedi Academy Aurochs are the official team of The Jedi Academy. Members from the Academy are recruited into the Aurochs to represent the community both in fighting ability and in good sportsmanship. The Aurochs compete in TFFA and Duel matches against other teams in JK3. The JAA also takes an active role in contributing back to the Academy and also to the entire JK3 community. As such, the Aurochs comprise the very best of the Academy.

What Is An "Aurochs"
An aurochs (Bos primigenius) is an extinct European mammal of the Bovidae family. Julius Caesar wrote of the great black bulls in an account of the Black Forest..."They are but a little less than Elephants in size, and are of the species, color, and form of a bull. Their strength is very great, and also their speed. They spare neither man nor beast that they see. They cannot be brought to endure the sight of men, nor be tamed, even when taken young." The team derives its name from the Final Fantasy X team: the Besaid Aurochs. The reason why Luke Skywalker picked this name is unknown, though. The word "aurochs" is both singular and plural and can also be thought of as a collective, individuals forming a greater whole.

Origins and History
The Hydroball Team
The first Academy team to carry the name "Aurochs" was originally created by Luke Skywalker and (SKX) Dark Blade as a casual Hydroball team at the Academy. Who the original players were and how active the team was at that time is unknown today. All that is known is the team eventually fizzled out with the arrivial of JK3.

Aphex's Aurochs
Late in 2003, Aphex created the first version of the Aurochs as they are today. He invisioned a team of Academy members that could go out and compete against other clans/teams in Duels and TFFA while representing the Academy. Aphex wanted the Aurochs to spread word of the Academy to various players in JK3 that didn't know about it and needed help.

The Aurochs were an instant success in the Academy and attracted some of its best fighters. The team practiced fairly often and participated in all aspects of JKA such as no-force, full-force, capture the flag, and all-out FFA. The team took on a number of clans and participated in some tournaments. Unfortunately, the records of those matches have been lost.

After The Departure of Aphex
Midway through 2004, Aphex joined the US Army and was unable to lead the Aurochs any more nor fulfill his duties as a Jedi Academy Knight. He turned over control of the team to Jaiko D'Kana, a JAT at the Academy. Jaiko was unable to do much for the slowly retiring team because of various issues in his life and the inability of his internet connection to join game servers. The Aurochs fell into inactivity and the team faded away once again.

The Return of the Aurochs
On October 10th, 2004, then Jedi Academy Knight Tido wrote to Jaiko to allow Janus, a former Aurochs and then a Knight, to take lead of the team and make it active again. Jaiko readily agreed and passed the responsibility to Janus. Janus laid a new foundation for the Aurochs and Tido constructed a new website to reflect the changes. The Aurochs took a design similar to the Academy's with the leader of the team being the "Master Aurochs", the leadership advisors being the "Master Auroch Mentors", the JAK+ who were involved being the "Mentors", and the rest of the team being "Aurochs". The team grew quickly and immediately started winning some matches.

Janus couldn't remain as the leader of the Aurochs because of issues in his life and eventually because the purge removed him from the title of Jedi Academy Knight making him uneligable to lead the team. Janus passed the title of Master Aurochs to 3th, padawan of Aphex and a Knight at the time. The Aurochs continued to flourish.

The Dual Team Concept
Not long after 3th took charge, the team realized the current system wasn't working smoothly. It became apparent that the Academy's design wasn't proper for a team and the Aurochs were suffering inactivity problems in the upper ranks just like the Academy was. Also, the Aurochs were caught in a tough debate about whether to recruit a team to win or recruit a team to allow more people to participate despite the outcome. It was believed that the team could accomplish both objectives and a dual-team system was drafted for the Aurochs. The Aurochs became two teams: the White Team and the Green Team. The White Team represented the top-skilled players and were to play against the toughest clans/teams. The Green team consisted of Aurochs that were considered "up and coming" and were to play intermediate level teams/clans. The hope was that both teams would be active, play opponets of their skill level, and the Aurochs would have a system that constantly improved players to the next level. The design worked well for the White Team and it went on to achieve some great victories in JKA. The Green Team, however, never became motivated about their matches and made little effort to improve or even participate.

Conflicts With The Academy
The Aurochs suddenly found themselves in a tough situation when teammate Sauce was suddenly banned from the Academy for making a sarcastic remark about laming on the Wovian clan's forums. Despite efforts to talk with the JAC, the Aurochs could not help their friend whose intentions were not meant to be serious. From this point on, the Aurochs and JAC had trouble getting along with one another. Situations arose where the JAC disapproved of the Aurochs. The team felt like they were being targeted and that the Academy was being hostile towards them.

The Aurochs went into debate amongst themselves about seperating from the Academy. Many felt that they were not welcome at the JA and that the Council, for whatever reasons, might destroy the team they had come to enjoy being a part of. On the other hand, most Aurochs didn't want to be a clan and liked representing the ideals and comradery they enjoy as members of the Academy. Most of the team agreed that the best course of action was to remain a part of the JA, but start preparing incase their fears about the Council were true. After this, the Aurochs began moving their website to their own domain and started acquiring their own game servers. Despite efforts to move on and make due, motivation dropped and the team stopped competing.

The Golden Age
The Aurochs regained their motivation and their desire to achieve the goals of the team. Because of the failure in the dual-team system, a new one-team system was drafted to create the "leaner and meaner" Aurochs. The idea was to have a smaller but better team overall. The focus was no longer to field only the best players in competition, but instead force everyone on the team to improve. Recruitment requirements were toughened, and it was harder to remain a member of the team if were are inactive. The Aurochs moved back to the JA's website and much of the tension between the Academy and the Aurochs had lightened due to the unbanning of Sauce and other reasons. The team participated in matches, strengthed its activity in Europe, and represented the Academy as the best "clean" team in the world in the ESL.

During this time, the Aurochs assisted with tffa classes with the Jedi Academy, attracting new students to the TFFA gametype. The Aurochs pushed for basejka Academy servers and eventually this did happen.

The Aurochs greatest achievement would eventually be reaching the rank of #3 in the ESL. But nothing gold can stay...

Decline and Retirement
Shortly after reaching the rank of #3, the Aurochs suffered lost after lost in the ESL. The team's confidence was shattered. In an attempt to counteract this, a new training system was implemented while the team took a break from competitive gaming. The training system was established and conducted; however, the timing was not the best. The Aurochs were slowly losing members to inactivity, and thus the training sessions only had a handful of Aurochs present. Eventually, the training sessions were abandoned.

During this time, the Aurochs were having troubles with the JAC once again. Certain projects, which to the JAC overstepped the bounds of the "JA's football team," strained the relationship of the Aurochs and the Academy. Both sides misunderstood one another, not willing to look at the other's point of view, making it very hard to come up with a concrete solution to the problem. Eventually, these projects were abandoned, and problems that arose on IRC were resolved. There was still some tension present though.

After a couple of months, the Aurochs noticed how inactive they had become. Due to real life circumstances, college, jobs, and other factors, a large portion of the Aurochs were not able to maintain a decent level of activity in-game. Some felt discouraged with the constant conflicts with the JAC. Some members of the Aurochs noticed the current condition of the team and tried to give the team a wake-up call. This wake-up call was not successful. The Aurochs could not maintain a level of excellence they previously had. They had only participated in 2 matches ever since they left the ESL. The majority of the team agreed it was time for the Aurochs to retire. The team planned on going out strong, hoping to leave an Auroch legacy that someone would pick up later in the JA.

When it was revealed that the Aurochs were retiring, the JAC explicitly stated that the team could not retire, but individuals could. This statement dissolved the Aurochs arranged plan to retire together after one last meeting. One by one, Auroch members stated they were retiring individually from JKA. Tido cleaned up the forums and handed over access to R2D2 and 3th, who was not present due to real life problems. The Aurochs beloved bot, b00m, run by Tido, became one with the Force shortly after this happened. The team was left with only two of its members, R2D2 and Jade Jedi.

The greatest era of the Aurochs thus far was finished.

A New Beginning
R2D2 and Jade Jedi, were the only Aurochs to stay after the mass exodus towards the end of 2006. They have both committed themselves to rebuilding the Aurochs and to recruit new members as to generate more interest within The Jedi Academy and the Aurochs.

R2D2 became the new Team Manager/Master Auroch after 3th, while Jade Jedi took on the role of trying to fill the shoes of Tido as the new Team Captain.

Shortly after, Piccolo and Wicek joined the team on completion of their trial and the re-building process had begun. Around the same time the Aurochs CTF squad was implemented and saw the return of Rosered to take the reigns of CTF Captain.

The Aurochs are looking forward to continuing the rebuilding process in 2007 and to start competing again in an attempt to regain some of their former glory within the JA community and the ESL.

Biography
A Jedi Academy Student
In July of 2004, Refl3x received a copy of JK3 and had begun playing. Shortly after his importation into the game, Refl3x discovered the Jedi Academy and enrolled as a student in its halls. Within a short amount of time, he was taken up by the then Jedi Academy Trainer Leif and began to study under him.

A Jedi Academy Auroch
During the Summer of 2005, with a little over one year of experience under his belt, Refl3x was trialed for a position on the Jedi Academy Aurochs Green Team. Passing the trial, he became a Jedi Academy Auroch and was appointed to the position of North American Competition Lead. He retired by the end of the next year.

In the BWN Community
A short while after he began playing JK3, Refl3x discovered BWN. The first clan that he joined was the JK3 dueling clan known as Shaolin. Eventually, the clan fell apart and Refl3x co-created a new clan in its place called Luong with a friend known as Axel or SanFeng and another duelist named Destinova. In Luong, Refl3x helped pave way for a successful clan that in turn paved the way of the many novices in BWN or JK3 at the time into formidable fighters. Luong continued its existance as a clan until it merged with Legacy where Refl3x became one of its new leaders.

Kensei no longer practices JKA but still trains in JK2. He is the former padawan of NofrikinfuN. When NofrikinfuN felt he could no longer honour his duties to his padawans (The Duke, Narsil and Kensei), the three were left to find new masters. Kensei became the padawan of Shannon, and together with Monty, he learned much from the then-Jedi Academy Trainer. When Shannon retired to continue his real life career, Kensei was once again found without a master and still with much to learn. It was during this time that Lord Exar Kun, one of Kensei's mentors at The Jedi Academy, introduced him to SmilyKrazy. After a short assessment period, Kensei became a padawan of SmilyKrazy - and remains a close friend to his master to this day.
Yea, the listings are definitely outdated on the respective rank articles. In addition, it appears your lists are not as complete too, so a combination may provide the most comprehensive listings so far.
