In Autumn of 2003, Leif began to play [[JK3]], with little experience nonetheless. It was during this time that he enlisted into the ranks of the clan [[IGF]] with its militaristic ideals and procedures. After a long career with [[IGF]] and working his way up the ranks up Warrant Officer, where he able to command a squad of [[JK3]] players. It was after this promotion that he quit the ranks of IGF due to unknown reasons and began to traverse the larger JK3 community.

===A Jedi Academy Student===
It was after a month or so that Leif discovered the Jedi Academy through the search engine Google. After enrolling as a student and being accepted, he could be found on the Jedi Academy servers very frequently. It was during this time that he became padawan to the Jedi Academy Knight [[Aphex]]. He studied under Aphex for the months to come.

===A Jedi Academy Auroch===
At the time, still being a student, Leif was asked by Aphex to join for a position on the [[Jedi Academy Aurochs]]. At the time, in its early stages of life, the Aurochs did not have enough members to function as a mainstream competitive JK3 team, so no tryouts were held. As an Auroch, Leif helped to induct new members into the team. Leif partook in many matches as the Aurochs became a structurally functional mainstream JK3 team. Eventually, as time went by, the Aurochs was passed on to new management. Leif continued and still is a member of the Aurochs to this day.

Within five months of joining the Jedi Academy, during the Spring of 2004, Leif was inducted into the ranks of the Jedi Academy as a Jedi Academy Knight. In the Summer of 2004, Leif took leave on a vacation to China.

===A Jedi Academy Trainer===
After his vacation to China, Leif was immediately promoted to the rank of [[Jedi Academy Trainer]]. During this time, he taught a plethora of classes and spent a large amount of time on the Jedi Academy servers, teaching a great number of students and classes.

===A Jedi Academy Student===
In July of 2004, Refl3x received a copy of JK3 and had begun playing. Shortly after his importation into the game, Refl3x discovered the Jedi Academy and enrolled as a student in its halls. Within a short amount of time, he was taken up by the then [[Jedi Academy Trainer]] [[Leif]] and began to study under him.

===A Jedi Academy Auroch===
During the Summer of 2005, with a little over one year of experience under his belt, Refl3x was trialed for a position on the Jedi Academy Aurochs [[Green Team]]. Passing the trial, he has been a Jedi Academy Auroch up to this day, currently with the position of North American [[Competition Lead]] in which he presides.

===In the BWN Community===
A short while after he began playing JK3, Refl3x discovered [[BWN]]. The first clan that he joined was the JK3 dueling clan known as [[Shaolin]]. Eventually, the clan fell apart and Refl3x co-created a new clan in its place called [[Luong]] with a friend known as [[Axel]] or SanFeng and another duelist named Destinova. In Luong, Refl3x helped pave way for a successful clan that in turn paved the way of the many novices in BWN or JK3 at the time into formidable fighters. Luong continued its existance as a clan until it merged with Legacy where Refl3x became one of its new leaders.

==Refl3x in the JKA community==
A short while after he started playing JK3, Refl3x discovred BWN. His first clan was the BWN duelling clan called Shaolin. Rogue, the leader of Shaolin had previously left the clan and Chauzu was it's new leader. Shaolin slowly waned and then died after many of it's members left the clan. Refl3x then created a new clan called Luong with his friend Axel (San Feng) and another duel fighter called Destinova. Luong was a successful clan in it's early days helping to train and make many of the "noobs" of BWN into formidable fighters. Luong continued to be a clan until it merged with the newly formed clan called Legacy where Refl3x became one of it's new leaders.
