Strafe jumping is a technique that is used to get around faster. It is faster to strafe jump than it is to run with Speed. It is a useful skill to learn, but can take a bit of getting used to.
How to do it: First you have to know how to hop around using the "bunny hop". This means that you repeatedly jump around without using any force. This requires quick taps of the jump key. After you can do this, you can apply the actual strafe part. Basically you alternate holding down the right and left directional keys after you do each bunny hop. EX: {jump, hold down right key, jump, hold down left key, jump.........}. You must also move your cursor slightly (30-50 degrees) in the same direction as the key you are holding on that jump. Your mouse should be facing forward again when you land each time. You should be holding the forward directional key the whole time.
