Ja Comics
There have been a number of comics created based around the Academy, mostly created for humour and a few laughs.
These comics have grown popular and are on high demand. There have been comics created in two ways:
-Garrys mod (GMOD)
-Jedi Knight Academy (JK3)
Jedi Knight Academy
Creation of comics in the game Jedi Academy require a small or large group of people to be done correctly:
-A Camera man
-Actors
The camera man takes screenshots of the actors doing certain tasks such as for example, fighting or conversing.
The actors follow the directions of the camera man who is more like a director and photographer, they will perform attacks and try to portray what ever the camera man wishes. Such as for example a simple saber swing.
If the camera man wanted to show an attack he would ask the actor to perform that attack and try to screenshot the certain stages or the mid stage of the attack where the screenshot would be most effective.
Garrys mod
The main advantage of creation of comics in Garrys mod is that it requires no actors or external help.
GMOD comics are created with ragdolls which are frozen place by a custom made weapon.
GMOD is a modification for the popular first person shooter Half-Life 2, it creates a sandbox style environment where the player has access to certain constraints which they can apply to physical objects in the world.
