Force Drain is pretty much the Dark Side version of Force Heal, because it heals you. However, as with all Dark Side Powers, it is an offensive Power, aimed not only at healing yourself, but also draining your opponents Force Pool at the same time. This results in you getting health, and in them not having Force Points left to use.
Force Drain is activated by pressing the Drain key, and stopped by releasing it.
Levels
- Level 1
- Cost: 2 Force Points
- Effect: A single beam shoots out of the users hand and drains small ammounts of Force from the opponent, while filling your own health. The crosshair must be over the opponent for this to work.
- Level 2
- Cost: 4 Force Points
- Effect: A continous beam shoots out of the users hand, draining the opponents Force to fill your own health. The crosshair must be over the opponent for this to work.
- Level 3
- Cost: 6 Force Points
- Effect: A large continous fan shoots out of the users hand, draining the opponents Force while filling your health. Multiple enemies can be drained at the same time, and the cursor does not have to be over the opponent for it to work.
Counters
The easiest way to counter Force Drain is by using Force Absorb, this simply negates the opponents Force Drain attack. Unlike other force powers, you will not get any force for absorbing drain, but you will not lose any either except for the constant force drop that absorb causes.
Dark Side users will have a harder time countering Force Drain, their best bet is to drain the opponent before he can drain you.
Force Drain is the biggest reason why Dark Side vs. Dark Side Full-Force Duels take so long.
