A Crosshair is the symbol in the center of the screen used for aiming. Weapons fire at the point where the crosshair is directed. Focusing the crosshair on a specific person will make his or her name appear on the screen. The crosshair design can be changed or can be turned off using the "cg_CrossHair" command, and the size can be altered using the "cg_CrossHairSize" command.
