Secondary fire is used to describe the alternative type of fire each weapon. For most guns, secondary fire is the optimal type of fire to use, since it is usually a more effective way to damage opponets, either because more Hit Points are taken, or you are more likely to hit them. Most people use the right mouse button to use secondary fire.
