Siege is a teambased gametype were two teams battle to complete objectives. One team 'attacks' and has to complete certain objectives that are scattered throughout the map, the other teams objective is to prevent the attacking team from completing these objectives.

Classes

You can choose from 6 different kinds of Classes to play, each having their own weapons, items and if applicable Force Powers. These Classes are:

  • Assault
  • Heavy Weapons
  • Demolitions
  • Scout
  • Tech
  • Jedi

Maps

There are 3 default Siege maps, and 1 map that was released later in a Map Pack by Raven Software.

  • Default:
    • Desert Rescue
    • Korriban Valley
    • Hoth Assault
  • Additional release:
    • Destroyer

Desert Rescue

General

  • Planet: Tatooine
  • Attackers: Rebels
  • Defenders: Mercenaries

The Rebels must make their way to the Millenium Falcon to escape Tatooine, the Mercenaries must try to prevent them from doing so by making it as difficult as possible for them to complete their objectives.

Attackers

Classes
Objectives
  • 1. Breach the Security Wall (Area 1)
    • There are 2 'soft spots' in the wall, and one of those has to be destroyed in order to advance. It is best to go for the right wall, because that is were the spawn point will be once you have advanced, meaning you'll be able to get to the next objective faster. If the left wall is destroyed first, it is recommended to destroy the right wall aswell.
  • 2. Destroy the 3 Security Stations (Area 2)
    • There are 3 Security Stations, each featuring 3 Terminals that have to be destroyed before you can advance. The doors to these stations have security terminals that need to be destroyed before you can enter the building. All 3 stations have an Automatic Defense Turret that automatically shoots at enemies that enter (they have to be activated by Techs from the Defense Team before they work), so be careful.
  • 3. Destroy the Arena gate (Area 3)
    • The main arena gate needs to be destroyed, after that 2 other gates will have to be destroyed aswell before advancing, the first gate is pretty tough, the other 2 gates can be destroyed rather easily. There is a Rancor in the Arena that will attack both teams, so be careful.
  • 4. Shut down the hangar shields (Area 4)
    • In order to bring the Protocal Droid parts to the Millenium Falcon, the shields that block the doors to the hangar will need to be disabled. This can be done by either blowing the door terminal to gain access to the elevator which leads to the control room, or by having a Jedi jump through the window of the control room. The last part is much easier and is strongly recommended.
  • 5. Recover the Protocol Droid parts (Area 4)
    • There are 4 Protocol Droid parts that need to be recovered from their buildings and brought to the Millenium Falcon to complete the final objective. The Jedi Class is strongly recommended for this task because of their speed, and their ability to jump through the windows instead of having to blow the door terminals.

Korriban Valley

General

  • Planet: Korriban
  • Attackers: Jedi
  • Defenders: Dark Jedi

The Jedi must fight their way through the Temple of the ancient Sith Lord Marka Ragnos in order to destroy the tomb of the Sith Lord. The Dark Jedi don't want the Jedi to destroy the tomb of the Sith Lord that they are trying to revive, and will do anything they can to stop the Jedi!

Note that all Classes in this map are Jedi/Dark Jedi, and the difference in each class is in their Force Powers and Lightsaber. The only class that has weapons other than the Lightsaber is the Demolitions class, which is equipped with either Detonation Packs (Jedi) or Trip Mines and Thermal Detonators (Dark Jedi).

Attackers

Classes
Objectives
  • 1. Destroy the Temple gate (Area 1)
    • In order to enter the Temple and advance, the Temple door must be destroyed.
  • 2. Place the 3 crystals on their respective Pedestrals (Area 2)
    • The Red, Green and Blue Crystal must be placed on their respective Pedestrals in any order. In order to do this, the doors leading to the Crystal rooms must be destroyed, after which the crystal needs to be taken and brought to the Pedestral. Be careful in the Crystal rooms, because there is a lot of lava, along with ancient Sith defenses.
  • 3. Take Marka Ragnos' Scepter to the Altar (Area 3)
    • The tomb of Marka Ragnos is protected by a shield, in order to deactivate it you will need to destroy the Scepter Room door, steal the Scepter and bring it to the Altar Room on the other side of the map. The Altar Room door will also have to be destroyed before the Scepter can be placed on the Altar.
  • 4. Destroy the tomb
    • As final objective, Marka Ragnos' tomb needs to be destroyed.

Attackers

Classes
Objectives
  • 1. Move the AT-ST through the door (Area 1)
    • Get inside the AT-ST and move through the door to advance, this can be done very quickly by going straight for the door. Be careful for the 2 Automated Blaster Turrets that guard the door, and for Rebel Technicians that try to slow down your AT-ST with Electro Magnetic Pulses from their DEMP2's
  • 2. Extend the bridge (Area 2)
    • In order for the AT-ST to cross the small canyon, the bridge must be extended from the control room on the other side of the canyon. The Jedi Class has a high enough Force Jump level to jump over the canyon, use this along with the Dark Jedi's speed to get that bridge extended fast. Non-Jedi Classes can either hack the Ion Control Room door (Requires a Technician) on the left or blast a way through the mountain on the right. Watch out for the Wampa if your taking the mountain route!
  • 3. Destroy the Shield Generator (Area 2)
    • The door to the Rebel Base is protected by a Shield that is generated by the Shield Generator on the mountain, use the AT-ST to destroy it and disable the shield.
  • 4. Take the droid to the Hangar Door Control Room (Area 3)
    • In order to advance, you must destroy the droid, and take it's head to the Hangar Door Control Room to unlock the Hangar Bay doors.
  • 5. Breach the Infirmary (Area 4)
    • Advancing can be done in 2 ways, either take the elevator at the end or hack the terminal next to the door on the right side of the hangar. Also a Jedi can run up the elevator wall and backflip from it at the top to advance. Be careful for the 2 self-repairing Blaster Turrets on the ceiling of the Hangar Bay.
  • 6. Destroy the Command Centre (Area 5)
    • As final objective, the Command Centre must be destroyed. There are 6 terminals in the Command Centre that have to be destroyed in order to finish the map. Non-Jedi Classes must use the elevator in the Infirmary to get up to the Command Centre, the elevator door terminal must be destroyed before this can be done. The Jedi Class can jump up on the catwalks and run to the Command Centre that way.
