Hybrid

Term used for the fighting style that combines the use of red, yellow, and blue stances with the single saber. Many JKA fighters use a hybrid style to keep variety in their fighting. The goal is to blend the stances together to increase how well an opponenet can predict what you'll do and utilize the strengths of all stances. Hybrids are a departure from the classic Yellow-Purists and Red-Purists that dominated the game early in its life.
