Hybrid

Term used for the fighting style that combines the use of red, yellow, and blue stances with the single saber. Many JKA fighters use a hybrid style to keep variety in their fighting. The goal is to blend the stances together to decrease the ability to predict changes in style or tactics. Hybrids are a departure from the classic Yellow-Purists and Red-Purists that dominated the game early in its life.
