Dark D'Kana arrived at the academy at the end of January after finding his brothers old game and deciding to give it a go. He had already beaten the single player game and was looking for an online community to hone his skills. He started out as a yellow user originally named DarkDaemiser who sometimes used duals when he faced more difficult opponents. Early on, Dark was taught by Cuthalion and Zødiac. In February 2010, Jaina D'Kana took him as her third padawan and he joined the D'Kana family.
